2021 Progress Update

WWF, TRAFFIC and IFAW launched the Coalition to End Wildlife Trafficking Online in 2018 with 21 tech companies. As of September 2021, the Coalition has doubled to 47 companies with operations around the world. As a follow up to the 2020 Progress Report, the Coalition has released a snapshot progress update with highlights included below. TikTok joined the Coalition in March 2021 and has since introduced new wildlife policies, increased enforcement efforts, and developed two PSAs to educate users to help keep endangered species #OfflineAndInTheWild.
